Design Wall Monday, September 13

On my design wall, are several different blocks.

First of all, this is a pinwheel block that I did utilizing the new method for making HST.  She this post for more explanation.

Secondly, here are my Wonky Houses for Block Lotto.

I think these are the only ones I'm going to make.

Also, here are my little niblet blocks

...aren't they cute?  I'm hoping to get some more finished this week.

I'm wanting to finish my Java Jive quilt top and get it basted in the next few days.

What are you all planning to work on this week?  Make sure and check Judy's blog to see what's on everyone's design wall.

I have yet to try that method for pinwheels. It's on my to-do list! Yours is cute with the polka dot fabric.

Cute cute little houses! And a fun HST tutorial!

Checked out that video. The only thing with that method is that all of the outside edges of the new triangle square are on the bias. With the "draw the center line" method, the outside edges are on the straight of grain (less or no stretch).

If you are going to use the Missouri Star Quilt Co. method, make sure you press and sew them together carefully and measure your block when finished to make sure it has not stretched or distorted!

The wonky houses are very cute! It would be nice to win those in the block lotto. Lots of quilty variety going on at your place.
