I did it from a kit that I bought at my LQS, Bismarck Sewing and Quilting.
I also bought the backing there. It's flannel and I LOVE it!
And this is my Joey. He's so funny...my only boy in the middle of all these girls! And, much to his father's chagrin, he has a doll that he LOVES, lol. It's name is Purple Baby Birdie.
I love my little boy. He's so like his father! It will be interesting to see what kind of a man he grows into.

One of my twins[now a 41 yr.old soldier] loved dolls & had quite a collection as a child. Youngest DS had a cabbage patch doll, SImon, I made it for him & Simon had matching soccer & b'ball uniforms, sweat suits etc as well as jeans & an oxford shirt! Guess I went overboard for him, I never had a girl!he is now in Med School!
Cute bear quilt but why bear when it has all kinds of animals on it?
It's based on the book, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?.
It's Joey's favorite book, so when I saw the kit, I just had to get it, lol.
