Quilter's Accountability Report - 1/19/11

Well, if you remember last week, I was in surgery, so I didn't set any goals for this week.

I did get some things done, though, after I got out of the hospital.

I got a little work done on my #6 UFO project, "Wonky Town."

I also finished a block for a really fun group that I joined online called the Dorinda Mystery Quilt.  I think it's going to be a BLAST!

I am really excited about how much I got accomplished this month and looking forward to next month.

So, here are my goals for this week.

  1. Send out packages for February's Let's Bee Together group.
  2. Catch up on Layer Cake Quilt Along blocks
  3. Continue to work on Wonky Town
  4. Finish Clue #2 of Dorinda's Mystery quilt
  5. Prepare for February's guild meeting
  6. Have a basting party and baste quilts that are ready for basting
I guess that should be enough!

Make sure you check out Bari's blog and see what everyone else is up to this week!  Consider joining us on Wednesdays.  I find that writing down my goals really helps keep me focused for the week.

I'll leave you with this photo I just took of the Sun Dogs.

The ambient temperature is -17° this morning...just a little chilly.  Thankfully, the winds are relatively calm now.

I just love your Wonky Town. I really need to start making some of those houses for myself. They are just too cute.

So does that mean no more rest?? Those goals will keep you busy!

I love your Wonky Town quilt! The colors are wonderful and I love the houses. Can't wait to see it finished!

I pray that you are recovering quickly from your stay in the hospital.

Your goals look great for this week...very ambitious! Isn't it amazing how writing down what you want to get done helps get it done!

Your sun dogs were cool. Thanks for putting the link in there as I had never heard of them before. Beautiful!

I guess it's acceptable that you made no goals during a surgery week, especially since you seem to be more than making up for it now that you're home!!!

Wow that is some list for next week. You must be feeling fine after your surgery. That is a good thing.
