I finished the top of my yellow quilt. I think I'll call it "Sunshine on My Shoulder."
Olivia thinks it would be better if it were purple.
This will be my first donation quilt of the year. It's for the Monochromatic Challenge that Judy is hosting.
I would like to get the backing pieced this afternoon. That will really chew up a bunch more of my yellow fabric which is okay with my as I don't really like yellow so much. So, the next time I need yellow, I'll just have to force myself to buy some more! That will be SO SAD, he he he!

What a sunny, happy quilt! It will make someone very happy.
Someone could never feel blue wrapped in that happy quilt. Nice work!
Your quilt is gorgeous, sunny, and cheerful. Now, who, on a 'blue day', couldn't be cheered up with that 'blanket of sunshine'?
Wow you got back from vacation and jumped right into it all, congrats. My yellow is still sitting on the table all chopped up and waiting to be sewed together.
Your quilt is beautiful and So Sunshiny!!
We could certainly use some of that here, with our blowing and cold snowy weather.
Wonderful quilt, so cheery.
Turned out really pretty. I'm not a yellow fan myself, but this quilt would make anyone a fan of yellow. Wow!
I do like yellow and think this is very pretty! Thank you for bringing us snow -- no school today and this is the second storm since you were here!
Now you can make another one in violet/purple and make Olivia happy.
I love this quilt!
By now Olivia has found out she may have her way very soon! Love the title for this beautiful quilt.
Very very nice! Probably with all the snow you will be getting you will want it out to remind you of the sunshine LOL
Olivia's going to be very happy at the end of February when you finish your violet quilt! This yellow one is GREAT!!
and beautiful. :)
What a great quilt - I love the design and of course you can't beat yellow for a sunny happy quilt!
Lucky for Olivia the Color for next month is the one she wants. Glad I'm not the only one who just got a top done with all the other challenges in January. Stay Warm.
Very cute quilt and I love your name for it.
Wonderful quilt - yellow was a good challenge for January - lots of bright quilts!

So pretty! How about some big purple appliqued flowers for Olivia!?! Or even some hand quilted flowers in purple thread?!? How can you resist?!?
