She wanted a block from a quilter in each state, and I'm it from North Dakota.
I think it turned out cute, but I'm embarrassed to tell you how I constructed this block...I did it "by the seat of my pants" and after working a while, I was able to get it all together, lol.
If I had it to do over again, I would have fussy cut the "petals," but I'm happy with it.
Next project is Block 5 of the Layer Cake Quilt Along.

I love that block!
So I really love the idea of getting a block from each state- how would I go about doing this? Does the lady you are doing the block for have a blog? How big was the block you made? I think I might do this but I am not sure how too!
