We made it to Chicago and now we're relaxing in the room.
This city traffic is a little much for my North Dakota hubby and our country kiddos, lol.
We're in a lovely Country Inn and Suites and the kiddos are settling in. We've been up since 3 am this morning, so an early bedtime is definitely in order.
We're ordering in Chinese and should be bedded down by 9 pm to get ready for a day of site-seeing in beautiful Chicago.
I'm hoping to be able to find at lease one quilt shop, but I guess I won't be too disappointed if I don't find one.
I think I'll head over to Judy's to see what everyone else is up to.

Enjoy your trip - was it quite snowy to get there?
You don't say which area of Chicago you are staying... There are a few of the Hotels... around the area.... Can you give an area/town... cross streets? Until recently I lived Near Chicago!!!
Hope you are enjoying Chicago - with or without quilt shops, it is a city I would love to live in!
