The Fruit of My Labor

For today's Design Wall Monday, I'm showing a little of what I've been up to for Christmas!

Here are most of the pillowcases all "wrapped and ready."

And here are the last few little mug rugs that I'm working on.

And, of course, my sister's quilt...

And the wall hanging that I finished for my Mom.

I won't be starting any new projects this week.

We're going to Kansas for Christmas.  It's been several years since I've been able to have Christmas with my family, so we're pretty excited!

Then, we're going to Chicago for a family trip...Anyone know any good quilt shops in Chicago?????

Make sure you check out what everyone else is up to at Judy's.

Have a Merry Christmas, everyone!

Wow... no, I don't think we'll see anything on your design wall next week. Have a great trip. There was a fabulous quilt store in one of the western suburbs. I can't remember the name but it was close to where Northwestern is as my dd and I were there when she was looking at colleges. Have fun.

Wow, that is a lot of Christmas cheer! You have been busy. Have a great time with your family over Christmas. I used to live in Chicago, but it was before I was a quilter. Hope you find a great place to shop!

You are going to make a lot of people happy this Christmas, both with your gifts of love and with your presence. Have a safe and Merry Christmas (it is cold in Chicago at this time of the year).

Tamera, I absolutely love the wall hanging for your mom. With all the gifts you've been busy with, have you had any time for RRCB? I'm sad I'm behind but there won't be any catching up until the new year. Have a wonderful Christmas in Kansas & fun in Chicago!

You sure have been busy. I've decided to give McDonald's gift cards this year. Making gifts just did not work this year and everyone can eat something at McDonalds or they can get one of the specialty coffees. I bet the line wont even be looong. LOL

I don't know of quilt shops in Chicago, but if you go downtown, get Garrett's popcorn. It's pricey but so worth it!
