Design Wall Monday - 3/14/11

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!  What's on your design wall?

My design wall is still covered with High Cotton blocks.  I'm up to 33 blocks now, so that's fun!

These are a few of my favorites.

I've also started working on my Monochromatic challenge.  The color for March is brown.

I've modeled this quilt after Bricks and Stepping Stones by Bonnie Hunter, only instead of 4 patches, I'm using 3.5" squares.

The other project I'm working on is these little sewing kits for my 4-H girls.  They went together really quickly and I just have to sew on a few buttons before this afternoon.  I'm going to teach them to sew on buttons and also to do simple repairs when a seam comes out in their shirts.

Make sure you check out everyone else's design wall at Judy's blog.

Have a great Monday!

Great projects you have going. Bricks and Stepping Stones is such a great pattern. I made two with 30s repros and still love them.

The little sewing kits are quite clever! I like your quilts - maybe I should make a brown challenge for myself!

Love those High Cotton blocks -- great fabrics. The 4H sewing kit is so cute and it looks like it would hold plenty of supplies -- great project.

The high cotton blocks are turning out great. Looking forward to seeing more of your brown quilt this month. Very cute sewing kits. You've been really busy this week.

Can't wait to see your sticks and stones variation...I am thinking of getting my small group to sew one of the these quilts.
