Design Wall Monday - 2/6/12

On my design wall this morning is a tiny little twister quilt that I'm making for my Step-MIL.

She and my FIL allowed us to use their hunting lodge for our guild's retreat without charging us. It was awesome! AND, her birthday is on Valentine's Day.

So, I decided to make her this little table topper.

Please note the messy cutting table with math pages and thank-you notes littering the sides, lol.

To give you an idea how small this little quilt is...

It was made using 3½" squares...teeny tiny, but not the smallest available, lol.

And, for the cuteness factor...

This is Lilac, the baby guinea pig. Isn't she just too cute for words????

Make sure you visit Judy to find out what is on everyone else is up to!

Ah, this sure made me smile on this grey, foggy day. It's really adorable once you see how small the pieces are :)

Very cute twister project. I did one last fall, but want to do a couple more because it was really fun. This one is really great done in all of these pinks.

I'm enamored with the twister. I've done a couple. Some one gifted me one. I want to get the smaller ruler and give it a try. How small can you go???

That is a great table runner! It really turned out well. One of these days I'll dig out my templates and give them a try.

I'm pretty sure Lilac is the cutest thing I've seen in quite awhile . . . and that's sayin' something, cos I have a baby calf in the barn right now, and he's pretty cute, too!
