Stash Report...Well, More Like Confession Time

OK, ladies. They say that confession is good for the soul, so here goes.

SOMEBODY STOP ME!

I haven't been feeling well, so I haven't been quilting, but I want to be quilting, so I've been buying fabric!!!!! UGGGGG!

I KNOW that I have a tendency to do that...after all, it's how I got such a big stash to begin with...and I STILL did it again!

GRRRRR!

NO MORE eBAY!!!!!!!!

OK, I feel better now.

I know exactly what you mean! I've grounded myself from eBay and have done very well. It's been a very long time since I've even looked. You can do it!!! My eBay vice was black hills gold rings. ;-) I have enough.
Hope you feel better soon...it's been too long.

Man, I had to go cold turkey on e-Bay about five years ago. When I had to pack up all those antique blocks and fabric. Enough! But I know what you mean when you're not wanting to sew. It's way to easy to poke those buy buttons! You can do it!

Hope you are feeling better soon - on the health and quilting front! Even though I have bought my share of fabric, it still feels better to create something and gift or donate the finished product!

I rarely buy fabric on line because I want to see and feel it so at least I am not tempted by ebay. Now thread on line is another matter.

But doesn't it feel good to be bad! I have a mile long wish list right now on Thousands of Bolts and just about ready to hit the order button. I am really trying to control myself but it is soooo hard.

Tamera, I had to stop myself from buying and it's a constant urge. Working in a quilt shop just adds to my temptation. Ebay, online stores, Etsy shops (I love handmade items, but I don't need any) are all challenges for me. I set financial goals for myself out of necessity that is also helping me with those impulse purchases and rationalizations. It's so hard to do! Get well, friend.

You said confessions are good for the soul, but I didn't see any numbers for what you bought on eBay. They were THAT bad??? :)

Not to worry. You've been doing a good job working on projects. It won't be long before your feeling better and are back to it.
