I've been finishing tops the last few days.
I belong to an online 1930's exchange group and we do several exchanges a year. It's really fun, but that means lots of blocks lying around, lol.
So, I worked on using some of them up these last few days.
The first one I finished was this quilt with lots of different blocks and another block that I had made every other one so that there would be some kind of symmetry.
I know this isn't a very nice picture, but you get the idea.
Then, I finished another smaller top using a block called "Depression Block," the pattern for which you can find at Quilter's Cache. We used HST with half white.
It makes this little diamond in the middle and so I wanted to extend that into the border.
Here's a close up of what I did. I think that I may put a colored border to finish it off, but I haven't decided.
What did you all do the last few days?
We're having a little family time...going to a hotel to swim for a couple of days.
Hope you have a quilty day!

So pretty! I will definitely look into the depression block for stash busting. I've been working on cutting Easy Street mystery clues so I can chain piece like a mad woman when I get with my quilty friends for a sew day in about 3 weeks.
