But, I agree that it makes it easier to create WIPs that take forever to get finished.

LizSpinningStarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17988891339643395864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223850653978665563.post-45840337859850876472010-11-28T07:52:07.633-06:002010-11-28T07:52:07.633-06:00I thought about changing when I count fabric as &q...I thought about changing when I count fabric as "out," but then I realized I probably wouldn't feel an urge to FINISH things if I counted the fabric out when I cut it!Katie Z.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15747099863417435647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223850653978665563.post-63753071270250203162010-11-28T07:38:32.747-06:002010-11-28T07:38:32.747-06:00sounds like you have had a busy week.sounds like you have had a busy week.Kathiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01734182751464436244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223850653978665563.post-83654051386763041792010-11-28T07:32:38.616-06:002010-11-28T07:32:38.616-06:00agreed, i count mine out when it's cut. if i d...agreed, i count mine out when it's cut. if i didn't do it that way, i'd loose all track of what's cut and what's not, because i often alter the patterns i'm making.pdudgeonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01372143874425562139noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223850653978665563.post-3364727383957982282010-11-28T07:08:17.420-06:002010-11-28T07:08:17.420-06:00Like you, I don't count it until I am finished...Like you, I don't count it until I am finished. How do you think you'll count fabric usage next year? I count mine once the fabric is sewn into a block, that means I have some progress every week. I think some people count it when they cut the fabric.
